Since the end of March Route 12 is officially integrated into the regular service of Verkehrsbetriebe Schaffhausen (VBSH). Since then, the self-driving shuttle is making its rounds in the center of Neuhausen - always occupied with a trained attendant. On weekdays (Monday to Saturday) the route is operated for four hours and on Sundays and public holidays for eight hours.

At last the time has come: Since Tuesday, 27 March 2018, Trapizio has officially been integrated in the regular services of the public transport authority of Schaffhausen VBSH. To communicate this milestone and to celebrate this special occasion, a media conference is being held today in Neuhausen am Rheinfall.

IT-TRANS, the important trade fair for smart public passenger transport solutions, took place in Karlsruhe from 6 – 8 March. Needless to say that Trapizio was also part of the action at such a major event: In a cordoned-off area in front of the exhibition hall, it made its rounds during three days and was thus once again in the spotlight.

Until the end of February, our driverless vehicle will be in Zurich, about 50 kilometres from home in Neuhausen. The reason for this is that Verkehrsbetriebe Zürich (VBZ) have borrowed Trapizio for testing. To this end, they have temporarily renamed our automated vehicle and also given it a new look.

Thursday, 1 February 2018. An update is available today from Trapeze in Neuhausen: The Swiss Transit Lab is being introduced, with a focus of the project “Route 12”.
